Hi! Welcome to Algonquin Nature Adventures 🌲🐻🌲🦫 🛶🫎🌲

My name is Baz and I am the founder of Algonquin Nature Adventures. Our company was born from my deep passion for introducing international students and tourists to one of Canada’s most remarkable Provincial Parks. Over the past 20 years, I have organized and guided hundreds of multi-day excursions, hosting thousands of international students and tourists who have come to study and explore in Toronto. Algonquin Nature Adventures grew out of these incredible experiences.

With over 24 years of experience as an English teacher to international adult students and tourists, I have developed a strong understanding of the customs, sensitivities, and cultures of people from around the world. This unique perspective enables me to create truly memorable and respectful adventures for our diverse clientele.

Our mission is to offer a safe, high-quality, and exciting backcountry experience that’s not only educational but also filled with amazing surprises. We aim to show international visitors the breathtaking beauty of Algonquin Park, introducing them to both the iconic sights they seek and the hidden gems they didn’t expect to discover. We know exactly what our guests want from a backcountry camping adventure, and we work tirelessly to make that vision a reality.

We are committed to the principle of "leave no trace," ensuring that our environmental impact is minimal and that we preserve the park for future generations. We also have a zero-tolerance policy toward racism, sexual harassment, and any other unacceptable behavior, fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all.

Algonquin Nature Adventures is fully certified by the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO#50026001), and all of our guides hold the necessary Ontario Recreational Canoeing & Kayaking Association (ORCKA) certifications, as well as Wilderness First Aid training, ensuring a safe and professional experience in the wild.
